We enjoyed delicious paninis and a taglieri sharing platter for lunch. Very generous portions, enough to save for later! Very hot in June but we were able to sit in shade as we ate. Friendly and efficient service from a very busy team.

Great tasting sandwiches served made fresh from quite a chaotic but fun deli. We got two to takeaway on our travels down south and they travelled well. Small shop and outdoor seating so you’re not guaranteed a seat.

I Borderi! Just had lunch at Borderi, and all the great reviews are justified. We had a tasting plate with a variety of deli meats and cheeses, vegetables etc all delicious! I recommend don't stop at just savoury...we followed lunch with their sweets, canoli, tiramisu and cheesecake, coffee...all just as great...and their sweet pistacchio cream was devine. Staff are super friendly, service is quick and a fun atmosphere

it was the highlight of our siracusa trip! HUGE sandwiches, we ate 1 sandwich the two of us and were full. polite and fast service. we returned later to try the plate too and it was delicious. must visit!

Great sandwiches and meat/cheese boards! I mean, GREAT! Very interesting combinations on the sandwiches; they were delicious. The staff is great. The setting is like eating in a storeroom, but it's fun and you won't mind. You'll have a ginormous sandwich to attend to!

Delicious, *big* sandwiches. Fast-paced, high energy. Great stop to enjoy a sandwich before you continue to explore Ortigia. Oh, and did I mention they’re big? One sandwich could easily feed 2 people for lunch. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for an incredible sandwich in Ortigia, Panino Bar Durini is a must-visit. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious, made on fresh, crusty bread and loaded with generous amounts of high-quality toppings. They don’t hold back, the portions are huge! In fact, unless you’re really hungry, I’d recommend ordering one sandwich to share if you’re with someone. Trust me, it’s more than enough. Everything tasted fresh, the ingredients were excellent, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for a casual, satisfying meal. Oh, and by the way, the owner is the friendly guy ever made the meal even better.

If you end up in Syracuse this sandwich shop is a must. It's on the beginning of the street market. The sandwiches are huge and very tasty. Service is quick and there is kinda plenty of seats. We had the mozzarella pistachio ham was delicious and tbh one portion was enough for 2 people. I think before you order you need to be mindful of the portions. Cuz generally the portions in Sicily are big.
